At the 2020 AOFFEP Awards which was held at CAC Grammer school, Efon on Thursday, 9th of January, 2020, SCHAF gave her message on Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) Awareness and Genotyping for prevention. A presentation on SCD, its challenges, causes, and preventive approach was projected to the audience. Accurate Genotyping using the newest Point of Care-Hemotype SC approved by WHO was demonstrated by genotyping about fifty (50) students courtesy of SCHAF.
The event was well attended by 148 individuals including 92 students and other eminent dignitaries in Ekiti State.
