Prof. Abiodun Falusi PhD, FFAMAN, FNAEA, FAAE (Chairman)

Professor Abiodun Olumuyiwa Falusi is the Chairman, Board of Directors of Sickle Cell Hope Alive Foundation (SCHAF). A University of Ibadan and Cornell University trained Agricultural Economist, Professor Falusi retired from the University of Ibadan in 2010 after 37 years of meritorious service. Professor Falusi has extensive experience in community mobilization, capacity building and programme development, project planning, implementation, evaluation and impact assessment, food security and rural development. Professor Falusi has provided training and consultancy services to various national and International organizations including Federal and States' Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), the World Bank, International Fund For Agricultural Development (IFAD), African Development Bank (AfDB), Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Centre for Integrated Rural Development in Africa (CIDAFRICA) and United Nations Research Institute for Social Development (UNIRSD). Professor Falusi belongs to many professional bodies. He is a Fellow of the Farm Management Association of Nigeria (FFAMAN), Fellow Nigerian Agricultural Economics Association (FNAEA) and Fellow African Association of Agricultural Economists (FAAAE).
