SCHAF at Splash F.M with the propagation of the “KYG – Know Your Genotype”
Part of the plans of SCHAF to propagate the “KYG – Know Your Genotype” Message is through the use of broadcast media. The role of broadcast media cannot be overemphasized in the dissemination of information to the populace.
In this regard, On Wednesday 10 September 2014 Professor Falusi participated in an interview programme (The Leading Women) on SPLASH 105.5 FM, Ibadan. The interview programme, anchored by Miss http://healthsavy.com/product/viagra/ Ifeoluwa Adeniyi, was aimed at educating the populace on the need for a Preventive approach to sickle cell disease through awareness, education and Genotype Screening. It also explained the need to care adequately as well as build capacity to assist SCD patients live a more meaningful life.
At the end of the programme, responses from members of the public showed that they were really educated via the interview. Clips of this will be on SCHAF website soon.
